Th forward and aft staterooms have insuite heads, and the aft head is equipped with a full size shower. The Salon models were advertised as sleeping 6, but can easily accommodate 10 people. A very large and comfortable aft deck is also an outstanding feature of this immaculate cruiser. Early in the 20th Century, Chris Smith started building speed boats and experimented with a variety of hull and gasoline engine combinations. A quest for speed resulted in highly innovative hull designs with elegant, sleek lines that unzipped the water with unprecedented velocity. While Chris Smiths early boats were a triumph of function over form, the comfort and style they exuded made them hugely desirable as well as widely respected. The beliefs that defined Chris-Craft continued on well into the 20th century. During the 1950's and 60's and Chris-Craft reached a new zenith, creating an extensive range of boats for just about every type of recreational pursuit on water. The Promises reflects the quality and elegance reflective of the great post war boating boom. This is a spacious, comfortable yacht and easily as nice today as the day she was splashed back in 1964. Gepetto is a is beautiful Fresh Water yacht that is boat show condition. Only 30 48' Constellations were made in 1966 by Chris-Craft, and we think this is one of the best in existence. This classic has always been stored in a covered berth and continually upgraded to retain the original elegance and performance. 'Best in Class' at local classic boat shows doesn't even begin to describe the condition of this classic yacht.May 1,2011 update: The boat shows practically as new.  There have been modern upgrades done, but they have been done so tastefully as to show as restored original. The engines are the original (numbers match) Ford 427s, Factory rebuild 650 hours ago. Compression is currently from 150 to 155 across all 16 cylinders. New bottom paint, no re-fastening, the boat never needed it. The bottom was taken down to bare wood 7 years ago, chec
